    A FEW WORDS ABOUT NIEPOŁOMICE

    The city of Niepołomice is located only 25 km from the centre of Cracow, on the intersection of the most important communication routes – from the south the national road number 4, from north to south, the road number 75 from Cracow to Krynica, on the west to the east – the A4 highway.

    Niepołomice is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Poland. This is undoubtedly connected to its good location, infrastructure and activities of local authorities. In Niepołomice there are many plants of prestigious companies – including Royal Canin, Oknoplast, MAN and Coca-Cola. Currently, Niepołomice Industrial Zone covers an area of approximately 400 hectares. It is complemented by smaller zones in Ochmanow and Wola Batorska.

    In the center of Niepołomice there is the City Park and the headquarters of the Polish Post (about 300 m from the hotel), an outpatient clinic and indoor swimming pool (approximately 800 m). What is more, all those seeking rest can enjoy great routes for walking or cycling tours in the forest (about 1 km)

    TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

    Niepołomice is also attractive in terms of tourism and recreation. The oldest monuments – the Royal Castle and Parish Church of Ten Thousand Martyrs date back to the mid fourteenth century, that is, the reign of King Casimir the Great, by whom they were built. The “green lungs” of Niepołomice is undoubtedly the Niepołomice Forest occupying 12,000 hectares. Niepołomice Forest is popular among walkers, joggers, cyclists and horse riders. Niepołomice also offer well-developed sports infrastructure. There is an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a golf course and horse stables. You can also become acquainted with the secrets of martial arts and learn the secrets of the sky at the Youths Astronomical Observatory.

    AVAILABILITY OF COMMUNICATION

    Niepołomice offer a well-developed bus communication (convenient access to the nearby cities of Cracow and Wieliczka), as well as regularly shuttling MPK line.
